My caption above sums it all about my business philosophy, which is also why I've named my Brokerage IM Realty Service - a double entendre: it stands for my initials as well as the fact that "I AM Realty Service".
I've been in the Real Estate business since July of 2001, and after 13½ years of working for big Franchises, I decided, as of June 06, 2014, to take my business to the next level by starting my own Brokerage. As they say, "what's in a name"? This is so true because in all my years with the big franchises, nobody ever came to me because of the Brokerage I was with. They all came to me because they were referred to me by my past clientele. This long time dream of owning my own Brokerage has finally come to fruition. My service commitment to my clientele remains the same. It's only the company name that has changed. And it's been 7 great years, this year, since I've managed my own Brokerage.
In my years as a Realtor®, I've never really had to advertise. I've grown my business through word of mouth advertising as I firmly believe that people's experiences are the best form of advertising and so, instead of paying heavy Franchise fees, my investment is in myself and those that support me - and this is a win-win situation for all. Over the 20 years that I've been in this business, I have had the honour of earning peoples' trust to help with the purchase/sale of their homes East to West, in Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Toronto/Scarborough, Ajax, Pickering, Richmond Hill, Brantford and Keswick, North-East of the GTA. All this has given me a lot of valuable exposure to markets around the GTA.
For anyone thinking of selling a property and would like to find out as to what it would cost them by way of commissions payable, the fees would depend on what services one would want included.and could range anywhere between 3.5-5%, in total, + HST.
I've also built up a Network of professionals that I confidently work with to enhance the experience that my clients have, working with me. These professionals include Mortgage Specialists, Financial Advisors, Insurance Agents, Lawyers, Home Inspectors and various tradespeople for the different jobs, and home renovations, around the house.
